It's about time I got to this.

Ok two things; first, Fugen was given healing powers by the Porter. If he touches bare skin, he will speed up the body's own healing process so wounds will heal a LOT faster; small cuts and burns will basically vanish in a few seconds, larger wounds, well I fail at estimating so that's negotiable XD

Anyway, while he works at the clinic, I figured it'd be a good idea to ask permission to go up and grab somebody's hand or something if he happens to see somebody hurt.

Also, I don't know how often this could come up given Fugen's peaceful disposition and refusal to participate in a fight, but if the time comes when he has to defend himself, he has a way. That weird-looking ball in his hands is called the Taikyoku Fuin. In canon it can do a lot of things relating to chemistry and physics, but here, he can only rely on physics. In this case, momentum. Any physical attack thrown at him he'll try to deflect by emitting repulsion, the opposite of momentum. While this seems like it would be an unbeatable defense, a: that wouldn't be fair to the game and b: it's canon that it is possible to break through. I'm not sure exactly why, but it seems stronger opponents actually can get through the barrier and hurt Fugen; he deflected most of his attacker's swarm in canon, but came out with his shoulder and both legs torn up pretty bad. Also without his ability to manipulate the atoms like in canon, he's completely vulnerable to elemental attacks, so that's no question.

So I give permission for really strong characters to break through, and ask for permission to be able to defend. Feel free to contact me at SageSaria9475 if you're not sure; I'm sure a lot of this is up to interpretation for both parties ^^;

Darkness.

All he could see was an endless black. Silence deafened him. His eyes stayed closed as he drifted in the nothingness around him.

Then sensations returned. From the oblivion he suddenly felt cold stone beneath him, stretched across his back where he lay.

...lay?

Sound assaulted his ears. Crackling, beeping, white noise. But it was all faint and garbled, as though his ears were underwater.

His fingers twitched, the only body part he could find strength to move. Then finally, slowly, his eyes opened, fluttering and struggling against the light outside their lids. All he could see before him was light. Light and faceless shapes of faint color.
